Eva Battle is a contemporary artist based in Tacoma, Washington.

Eva’s work is rooted in the search for beauty - especially in the middle of tension, uncertainty, and the quiet moments we often overlook.

Her process is both intuitive and intentional - each piece emerging through movement, revision, and moments of inspired breakthrough. She paints to explore what it means to be human: the push and pull between light and shadow, chaos and calm, loss and hope. Each piece begins intuitively, often without a fixed outcome, allowing layers to build and shift until something honest emerges.

Drawing inspiration from the landscape - both external and internal - her paintings lean toward abstraction while still holding onto a sense of place. Texture, movement, and subtle shifts in tone are central to her process, inviting the viewer to slow down and experience the work rather than simply observe it.

More than anything, her hope is that these pieces create space - space to reflect, to breathe, and to find a sense of stillness. Whether a painting reminds you of a place, a season, or something harder to name, she wants it to feel personal and alive in your space.
